What are “Non Geographic” Numbers?
Non Geographic Numbers (NGN) are telephone numbers that do not relate to a location in or outside of the UK. These numbers start with either 03,05, 070, 08 or 09 (i.e. 070, 0300, 0800, 0808, 0844, 0845, 0870, 0871, 0872 and 09).
What are “Geographic” Numbers?
Geographic Numbers are telephone numbers that relate to a location in the UK. These numbers start with either 01 or 02 (i.e. 012, 020, 017, 015, ).
Can I keep my existing numbers?
Yes you can, Non geographic numbers simply forward to your landline or mobile phone number. There is no limit to the amount of phone numbers you can have to the same target.
Can you direct calls to mobile phones?
Yes. Any one of our numbers can be directed to mobile phones, however a mobile surcharge does apply. Simply select your number and login to your account to point your number to the mobile of choice.
How long does it take to setup my new number(s)?
New numbers should be live within 5 minutes of your order being confirmed. You will need to login to your account to map your number to a mobile or landline destination.
How do I see if my number is being used?
Once you have an account with Skywire Communications Limited, you can log in to your account online to run reports for any time period. You can either view these reports online or easily export them to either CSV or PDF.
